The Panhellenic Association of Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation (PASTaR) is the official body of Athletic Therapy, representing Athletic Therapists in Greece.
Athletic Therapists are graduate level autonomous healthcare practitioners, who are trained solely in Sports Medicine, specialising in clinical assessment and examination, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal injuries and diseases. Additionally, they emphasise on the design, prescription and implementation of exercise and rehabilitation programmes in both health and disease.
PASTaR is member of the World Federation of Athletic Therapy (WFATT)
PASTaR collaborates with other European and International healthcare and allied healthcare organisations/associations to promote the highest standards, harmonise and regulate the profession of Athletic Therapy worldwide.
