Membership Categories
Membership of PASTaR is divided into three categories: full graduate members, student members, honoured members.
PASTaR welcomes Graduate Athletic Therapists as full graduate members. Undergraduate and postgraduate students in Athletic Therapy and Rehabilitation can become student members.
Full Graduate Members must meet the following requirements:
1. Have graduated from an undergraduate or postgraduate academic programme in Athletic Therapy and Rehabilitation accredited by the relevant professional body/association of its country [BASRaT, SST, ARTI (UK), NATA (US), CATA (CA) etc], and
2. Have obtained a valid international first aid certification, which is up-to-date.
Student Members must meet the following requirements:
1. Students undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate academic programme in Athletic Therapy and Rehabilitation accredited by the relevant professional body/association of its country [BASRaT, SST, ARTI (UK), NATA (US), CATA (CA) etc], and
2. Have obtained a valid international first aid certification, which is up-to-date.
Honoured members can become Greek or foreign scientists who have contributed or are contributing to an outstanding way, directly or indirectly, to the achievement of the mission of PASTaR.
According to clause 4 of Article 4 of the constitution, only Full Graduate Members of PASTaR are entitled to use the titles “Sports/Athletic Therapist”.
